Jason Binn is the founder of DuJour. Prior to the launch of DuJour, Binn founded Niche Media in 1992, a leading publisher of luxury regional magazines nationwide (Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Gotham, Hamptons, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Ocean Drive, Philadelphia Style, and Vegas). Recently, Binn has also partnered withsome of the most creative and inspired entrepreneurs of the day. In August of 2010, he was appointed Chief Advisor to the CEO and Founder of Gilt Groupe, Kevin Ryan. In August of 2011, Binn became partners with Colin Cowie Enterprises where he serves as Senior Advisor to the CEO and the Company. In September of 2011 Binn created a strategic partnership with Getty Images, a leading creator and distributor of digital media.

In 2005 Binn was profiled in Forbes magazine's "Forbes 400". He was awarded Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2006 and in 2007 was inducted into the American Advertising Federation's “Advertising Hall of Achievement” 2007 (the only magazine recipient for that year). In 2008 Binn was featured in Crain's coveted "40 Under 40" list of successful entrepreneurs. And in 2009, Binn received the Boston University's Distinguished Alumni Award for Service to Profession for his leadership and cutting-edge work in the field of communication presented by Dean Tom Fielder (from a total of over 25,000 candidates) and currently serves on the board.

In August 2010, Binn was appointed as Chief Advisor to Gilt Groupe's CEO & Founder Kevin Ryan (formerly Ryan served as CEO of DoubleClick and lead the sale of it in 2005 for $1.1 billion to Hellman and Friedman.

DoubleClick was acquired by Google for $3.1 billion in 2008). In this position, Binn works across each of Gilt's business lines: women’s apparel and accessories; food (Gilt Taste); men's lifestyle; children; home; travel (Jetsetter); and local services and experiences (Gilt City). In this capacity, Binn lends support to the company’s continued efforts to nurture and develop relationships with the world’s most prestigious brands. Gilt Groupe launched in November 2007 and has established itself as the leading fashion and travel online retailer in the US and Japan with a broad range of daily sales for its several million invitation-only members. Gilt Groupe reported full-year gross revenues of $25 million in 2008, since then the company has added additional business lines in which gross revenues for 2011 will be approximately $500 million. The company is currently valued at over $1 billion and is considered second to Amazon as the most valuable U.S. e-commerce company. Gilt Groupe employs over 750 full-time employees.

In his current role at Colin Cowie Enterprises, Mr. Binn provides counsel and strategic guidance to the company and Mr. Cowie as the company expands its business endeavors. Mr. Binn concentrates his time on new business development, corporate partnerships, and other strategic initiatives both domestic and international in life and style, events, television, and digital media categories. Binn's expertise and track record in the luxury world spanning fashion, art, entertainment, and media has broadened Cowie's global business portfolio as he expands into new categories under the Colin Cowie Enterprises umbrella.

Binn's partnership with Getty Images promotes his personal photography, archives, and BinnShot (which he edits). All proceeds benefit Anthony Shriver's Best Buddies International (where Binn serves as a Board Member), a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Additionally, Binn is co-founder of the Binn Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Charitable Foundation, which is dedicated to saving the lives of hundreds of animals from problems due to cruelty or neglect. He is also a patron of God's Love We Deliver, a leading provider of nutritious, tailored meals to people in the New York metropolitan area who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
